So I strolled out into the yard today with my camera in hand, I thought I would take a picture of the pretty rose bush I recently planted, as it is coming along nicely.
As I got closer, I saw that it had many blooms, so I picked one out to photograph, zoomed in on the petals and buds and saw that there was a bug. I immediately felt one with Mother Earth, like I was suddenly a photographer for ‘Animal Planet’ and so I snapped a picture of the bug. But I burst out laughing when I realised that I had captured not one solo bug in the picture, but that there were two bugs! Not only that, but I had ‘caught’ them in a moment of passion……… I felt like an intruder….some perverted porn-film director, and then I laughed again that I was even thinking that way.
The bugs were ugly, and yet they seemed to like one another very well and having a good time. Well at least the male seemed to be happy (sound familiar)………
I guess lots of the Earth’s creatures like to wake up on a lazy Sunday morning, roll over on their petals, raise an antenna and say “How about it baby?” Hope you enjoy the picture of Romeo. Jude the Outdoorswoman
